Title: The Peak, 11/27/06: It's 1983

VHM to A Christmas Story (anyone else see that a museum to the movie will be opening in Cleveland?) and to New Order's "Blue Monday" (all too fitting).  But I must admit, what I wanted to hear today was Southside Johnny's '70s take on "Without Love."

And let the melancholy floodgates open, it's Chrissie's "2000 Miles."

Oooh, nice wrap up with Paul Simon "Hearts and Bones".  Wish Dave would play stuff off this album, there are at least 4 great tunes on it.

Two people were married
The act was outrageous
The Bride was contageous, she burned like a bride.

poc, you ought to play this at your wedding.

Have you seen the TV commercial (for a cel phone? high-speed internet? that's a dead-on parody/tribute to the film? VERY clever.
