OK, "If This Is It" is a cute confection, and I haven't heard it in a few years.  I remember digging the even more cutesy video.

If This Is (not) A Breakout... it's a rarity.  BOS on that basis alone.

Yeah, I've always been a tad distressed by this talk of Number 1 and Number 2.

Ditto -- and now Ginger's into her 2nd JT tune of the set, "October Roads". That's so wrong.

imho, the only other 80's act that combined the New Wave sensibility with pure pop craftmanship better than the Twins was, maybe, Culture Club.

Will try. All kinds of mishegoss going on here during the set so I wasn't able to listen too close, so I'd like to hear it again. I have a meeting to go to tonight, but should hopefully be home by 10.

er,that was "IF This is it" (Huey Lewis), not "This is It" (Kenny Wimppins). But hey, it's all Yacht Rock one way or another.

Huey's in town playing the Jerry Orbach/Richard Gere role in the touring company of Chicago, which may explain why Dave got that song outta mothballs.

1.  Big Country - Fields of Fire
2.  ZZ Top - Legs
3.  Huey Lewis & the News - If This is it
4.  Joe Jackson - Be My #2
5.  Yes - Leave it
6.  Thompson Twins - Doctor Doctor
7.  The Time - Jungle Love
8.  Roger Waters - The Pros & Cons of Hitchiking (BEST OF SET!!)
9.  U2 - A Sort of Homecoming
10.  Talk Talk - It's My Life

BONUS TRACK:  The Cure - Love Cats
