OMGWTF! Nils Lofgren's little-heard cover of Carole King's "Goin' Back" BOS2, and kudos to Rob for digging this one up.

Wow, I'd never heard of that.  In fact, I'm not sure I've ever heard Carole do it herself; I only know the Byrds version, and even that, only faintly.

Carole did it on the one album she made as part of a band called The City (long out-of-print, afaik).  You mean you've never heard Dusty's sublime version? We'll put that at the top of the things-to-play-for-Gaz list next time you're here.
