...into TP & the HBs, Even the Losers.

High jangle factor in this set so far.

Hoping maybe for some Cheap Trick, just this once. This was their big year, IIRC.

Woo Hoo, BOS BT!

Didya notice that Dave's McDonald's blurb is now about chicken instead of beef?  A reference to Mr Foley, no doubt

Shoulda been--that trade for Pierszynski (sp?) may well go down as the Giants' worst deal since Orlando Cepeda for Ray Sadecki. All three of the pitchers the TCs got out of us have had pretty good success. All we got was an asshole who was sent packing after one season.

I'm gonna spread it all over the land"

Is he singing about love... or K.Y. ?

DS, BOS2 here. This is sounding really really nice. Love Knopfler's guitar tone here--fab fingerpicking.

I can't get
Jumpin' Jack
I wanna hold
Get Back

VHM: M, the looooong version? Can the Buggles be far behind? (I always associate those 2 records).

Funny, I do too. They both had that kinda-weird-for-the-time production style that Gary Numan would capitalize on a year or so later. New Wave when it was truly new.

I'm sure Dave's played it but it's hardly one of the usual suspects.

I think it's a great song, largely on the virtue of the guitar solo.

Checked the slightly outdated version of the Shray-tabase that I have here at work, and it's not listed in there at all. Though it certainly could have been played somewhere before Mark's data begins.

Ain't no stoppin' Dave now. One of the rare occasions he didn't play this in conjunction with gay-rights-march clips.
