Title: The Peak, 8/10/06: 1994

Yeesh. Except for "Cantaloop", which I'm sorry I missed, this is completely snoozeville -- especially Sideshow Bob, er, Counting Crows unnecessary cover of "Ghost in You". *shudder*

And here's "Run Around", which is a '95 song to me, no matter when the album may have been released.

Meat Puppets - Backwater
Live - Lightning Crashes
Elastica - Stutter
Tom Petty - You Don't Know How It Feels
US3 - Cantaloop
Pink Floyd - Take it Back
Counting Crows - Ghost In You
Blues Traveler - Run Around
Nirvana - Where Did You Sleep Last Night
Hole - Doll Parts

Well, OK I guess I spoke too soon (Counting Crows made me go all crankypants).  The Nirvana was new to me and I don't think Dave's ever played Live (who I have no use for, but still) or Meat Puppets or Hole. Guess he hates girls with too much cake.

ETA: Rob just said Shawshank Redemption starred "Tom Robbins". I hate it when bestselling authors try to act. LOL!

That's not a bad set IMHO, but I've never heard that CC cover of "Ghost In You", and as it's just about my favorite song from the mid eighties, I suppose my reaction would be at least as cranky.
