Dick Bartley used to play a great interview clip w/Marilyn McCoo, talking about how the 5-D went to see Hair and they all turned to one another during "Aquarius" and said "DAMN! We gotta record this!"

what's this piano noodling?  fake jazz?

That song was a BIG fave at mt Catholic grammar school, being an early example of Jesus Rock.
