some kid here in the hostel asked me who was singing this song. i told him it was the dead. he said, "i´ve only ever heard the sublime version!" i didn´t even know there was a sublime version.

just how hot is it there? it´s cooler today, but i think yesterday was 38. the electricity went out in el barrio the night before.

Down my way it's in the 90's. Hot at night too. I went to the ballgame last night in SF and no jackets were required so it was probably high 60's at night.
