Don't blink or you'll miss it.
-
BOS The Honeycombs, "Have I the Right?", which many still think is called "Come Right Back".
-
BOS2 the Searchers, "Needles and Pinza"
-
BOS3 Johnson girl-with-daisy/nuclear blast campaign commercial. Only aired once, but wow, still amazing.
-
VHM Chuck, out there playin' his licks, and still tryin' to get her belt a-loose.
-
BOS, Chuck Berry.
-
"My name is Pussy Galore."
"I must be dreaming."
---
"Do you expect me to talk?"
"No, Mr Bond... I expect you to die!"
followed by the Beatles -- without earmuffs. LOL!
-
BOS 2, Bond, James Bond.
BOS 3, listening to the Beatles with my earmuffs on. Earphones, actually, but it must be one of those British/American usage differences

Well, I'm always wary when Mick likes something  . I'll definitely see it for Streep. I'll wait until next weekend to see Superman Returns in IMAX 3-D.
That Beatles earmuffs comment is a reminder that the pop culture of that moment was still aimed squarely at our parents; anyone over 35 was assumed to hate the Beatles (ever hear Allan Sherman's "Pop hates the Beatles"?) and Elvis too (see: Bye Bye Birdie).
