a "classic" -- cue the Crowded House.
Copied from my now-deleted thread:
Did we get an early start? I just tuned in at 9:58 to hear Everybody Have Chung Tonight, which could mean 86, except didn't we just go there?
Guess that's a yes, except it's 87.

Jane's gettin' Heinz ketchup all over Jon Astley.
-
<Eric Cartman voice>"Solitude, sit down already, GODDAMMITT!"</ecv>
-
what do you think I would give at this moment, for a different year than '87?
But actually Billy Vera gets a VHM.

And we were just there... last Monday (6/12):
1. Roger Waters - Radio Waves
2. George Harrison - Devil's Radio
3. Squeeze - Hourglass
4. Sting - Englishman in New York
5. Cure - Just Like Heaven
6. Rock & Hyde - Dirty Water
7. Love & Rockets - No New Tale to Tell (BEST OF SET!!)
8. Fleetwood Mac - Little Lies
9. Chris Isaak - Heart Full of Soul
10. World Party - All Come True
and here's Rock & Hyde... again. I've got a feeling both CH and Robbie Nevil are yet to come.

As you...predict.
I almost said "As you wish" but I know that ain't the case. And yeah, CH is almost a certainty. If there's a god, anything but DDIO, please.
ETA: Btw, I am visually enjoying the threads in which Mike posts frequently (that is, most of them) because it results in a legion of Lisa Simpsons, marching in step, bearing their saxophones. How cool is that?

fresh from Ginger's Cheeze medley -- it's Cutting Crew.
And speaking of Cheeze: Starship!
-
And didn't someone express a desire/fear of hearing Starship the other day when we were in 86? Here ya go.
For the most part, this whole set's been a cheezefest.
-
I remember that "scary moments" comment and the weird sound Dave made at the end; I think we've heard this "classic" more than twice.
