as if all-Pearl Jam last week wasn't bad enough, I sign on just in time for "Evenflow", which Live 105 used to use as the theme for a sitcom spoof called Eve and Flo, sort of a stoner/slacker Laverne & Shirley.

INXS - Heaven Sent
Nirvana - Come As You Are
Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven
Lemonheads - It's a Shame About Ray
Bruce Springsteen - Lucky Town
REM - Nightswimming
U2 - Even Better Than The Real Thing
Sophie B. Hawkins - Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover
Pearl Jam - Evenflow
Sugarcubes - Hit

Damn, I wish I hadn't missed Sophie B -- would that Dave'd play that occasionally.

got in early today (out of town VIP's are due in) and while I wouldn't call this a great set, I sure wish I'd gotten in just a couple minutes earlier to hear the Sugarcubes.

Tuned in for the replay.  I'm temping at Jane magazine the next three weeks so I'll be a limited presence here.  WOS to Crapton, and displeasure to the Bruce rewrite of the USA album.  BOS to R.E.M. only because it's a major sledgehammer for me, June 1996 at Lake Winnepesaukee, New Hampshire.  On purely musical merits BOS to Sophie B., still an incomparable piece of songwriting there.
