oleta? really? yay!

well dave intends to show we three this morning, doesn't he? so far not a bad '90s set (even if it does sound more like the 80's).

Well, "You're The Voice" was orig released in '86 (re-released in '90) and I swear Dave's played it in more than one year.

uh-oh, Can't Touch this Katrina.

I know Dave has played this before, but it's not in the Db, so not for at least 25 months.  He plays "Sowing the Seeds of Love" & "Laid So Low (Tears Roll Down)" in '89 sets, but iirc he's within his rights because this charted last among the singles on this album.

Good memory, he did exactly that, but not since 2003 in either case.

or something like that. that's what the p.e. teacher says when the ball pops on lisa's head.

Toy Matinee "Things She Said" is actually as big a Katina as Michael Penn & MC Hammer put together over the last two years.

sure, Berry (sp?) was dirty, and this new guy in LA is caught red-handed, but it still kind of sticks out like a sore thumb when all these other GOP fat cats plunder with invulnerability!

"Katrina in Your Soul" But still, this was one of Dave's better 1990 efforts.

"Bluebird of friendliness
Like guardian angel's zits"

He was inadvertently correct; there was another song that used the "s'gettin, s'gettin, s'gettin kinda heavy" lick.  I heard it maybe a month or two before "The Power" took off, and never since.

LSL(TRD) isn't from The Seeds of Love; it's from the GH anthology released in 1992; but Dave chronically plays it in the wrong year b/c it's misfiled in his database.  (The other single from TSOL was the sadly ignored "Advice for the Young at Heart.")
