gak! it's 10,000 merchants! i loved this album, and "candy" was a great single. but...gosh, i forgot what my "but" was. hey! hey!

Totally.  I was wrapping up my post on last night's American Idol finale.

I don't dislike Natalie Merchant to the point that I'll switch channles when she pops up, but I really don't get excited about anything beyond the first 10,000 Maniacs album.

i hated this cover at the time (the pulp fiction one). it still makes me itch.

I'm with Mark on that one.  That "this child will be gifted" song (which KFOG played this morning, TANC) used to annoy the crap outta me.
