I bet Ginger gives us some of the stuff I actually remember from 1987.  I really liked this year when it actually happened.

BOS #3 Nicky Cage - Raising Arizona clip.

God do I love the Coen brothers.  I own DVD's of this, Miller's Crossing (still my favorite), Blood Simple, O' Brother Where Art Thou, Fargo, and, uh, well maybe I only have those 5.  So I still need to get at least three or four more.

I really like this Sting album still now, but "We'll Be Together Tonight" is my least favorite.  I'd love for someone to play "The Lazarus Heart" one of these years.

Cruzados! "Bed of Lies" -- I can't remember the last time I heard this. Think I have this LP on cassette somewhere. They were "the next Los Lobos" as I recall.

BOS #4 for me.  I think this is on a late 80's comp disc somewhere in my collection.

Ginger promises Lyle's  "Mmmm-O-N-E-Y" on the flip side.  Can't wait!

I was never exposed to anything from Pontiac until about 5 years later, but now it's in my personal top 20 for sure.

VHM Satriani, "Aways With Me, Always With You", but again, I'd really like to hear "I Believe" one of these years.

"Hourglass" is still nice, but not getting a vote compared to Cruzados & Lyle.

or Roger Waters, "The Tide Is Turning". Yay!  BOS #5!

"Katrinaglass" needs to be retired, IMHO.

Take back... Difford and Tillbrook! Take back Joe Piscopo!

Nice clip of Eric Stoltz from Some Kind of Wonderful, a toss-off teen-angst movie that actually had stellar acting from him & Mary Stuart Masterson.

Proxy for POC - "Take back Joe Piscopo!"

You got me in a corner
You got me against the wall
I got nowhere to go
I got nowhere to fall

Take back your insurance
Baby nothin's guaranteed
Take back your acid rain
Baby let your T.V. bleed

You're jammin' me, you're jammin' me ,
Quit jammin' me
Baby you can keep me painted in a corner
You can look away, but it's not over

Take back your angry slander
Take back your pension plan
Take back your ups and downs of your life
In raisin-land

Take back Vanessa Redgrave
Take back Joe Piscopo
Take back Eddie Murphy
Giv'em all some place to go

You're jammin' me, you're jammin' me
Quit jammin' me
Baby you can keep me painted in a corner
You can walk away but it's not over

Take back your Iranian torture
And the apple in young Steve's eye
Yeah take back your losing streak
Check your front wheel drive

Take back Pasadena
Take back El Salvador
Take back that country club
They're tr yin' to build outside my door
