MO, "Dead Heart"; Mr Cray on the "Night Patrol"
-
BOS Murphy Brown clip.
"Do you know who the Shirelles are?"
-
musta just missed that. I love that Midnight Oil track. When they did WingDing a few years ago that was one of the highlights of the show.
-
Well, that Toni Childs track is one I've never heard, so kudos for that.
VHM for Neil, sucking up to Dave Marsh

Hmmm, glad you guys were able to connect--I'm having trouble getting their server to serve up a stream. I get the Ford ad (with nothing around it on the player page, and then it 404s on me. I shall persevere.
ETA: Fifth time's a charm. And while the Ford ad never seemed to work, when I got the Engle homes ad, everything was peachy. What was it we always used to say about Fords? Fix or repair daily?

Hey, didya hear that clip of Scarlett Jo singing "Summertime" on KFOG during the 6:00 hour? She has a breathy, sexy singing voice (quelle surprise!).
BOS2 John Cleese -- OMG! BOS3 Morrissey, "Suedehead"!!!
-
BOS #1 John Cleese.
BOS #2 Morrissey & Marr.
ETA: OOOooops, I shoud have said Morrissey w/o Marr.
ETA2: Okay. I admit I forgot that was solo Morrissey, not late era Smiths, and thus it was not Johnny Marr. And I further admit that I had to look up who was Morrissey's guitarist on Viva Hate, but now I can tell you it was Vini Reilly. Hope that helps.

Hey Urth, Gaz's reply reminds me that we need to get on your case about coming up with a new profile quote. I think an annual renewal requirement is more than fair, and you sir, are out of compliance!

methinks Marr's not on that Morrissey solo track, but I don't have the LP handy, so I could be wrong.

Another BOS to Joe S. "Crush Of Love."
-
Woo Hoo! BOS4 Patti Smith, one of the GREAT singles of that year that went nowhere commercially. "People Have the Power", indeed!
-
Well, THAT was the best second-half-of-a-1988-set in some time. I'm exhausted!
-

Holeee Crap! How often have you wished for this Mike?

Many times -- and I've now gotten it from Rob and Ginger. Dave needs to catch up. (And Bob won't get to 1988 for a nuther couple years, presumably...)
ETA: Speaking of Dave, I have agood feeling about today -- maybe early '70s or even '60s, since tomorrow will (one guesses) be a Cinco de Mayo set.

Hope you're right. I'm worried we might end up with a late-80s triple-play for the day, since we hit the 70s and early 80s in the classics on Monday & Tues.
