This is beginning to look a lot like the following set from last year in Feb, if you switch out Bowie for Sweet Lou.

    1. Yes - Leave it
    2. Lou Reed - I Love You, Suzanne
    3. Tones on Tail - Go
    4. U2 - Pride (In the Name of Love)
    5. Cars - You Might Think
    6. Duran Duran - Wild Boys**
    7. Twisted Sister - We're Not Gonna Take it Anymore**
    8. Pretenders - Back on the Chain Gang
    9. Zebra - Bears
   10. Wang Chung - Dance Hall Days

Wang Chung makes it 5, and I have a strong premonition that "Bears" will be tune #10.

Only some footage from "Repo Man" or "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension" can save the set now.  And that never happens.

Ginger's played a Buckaroo Banzai clip in her '84 sets, iirc.

My college cronies, the Freaks, bonded on a few things that I was never able to get, and Buckaroo Banzai was chief among them.  I watched the film twice and was bored to sleep each time.  Someone convince me that I should give it another chance!

I'm glad to hear that -- I saw it in a theater in '84 and totally did not get it. The very definition of a cult film, I guess.
