I didn't hear any hints one way or another as to whether we're actually getting an Earth Day set. But yay '67!
-

ETA, we haven't been to '67 since Dec. 2. We've been to '69 FOUR times since then, '68 twice, and even '66 once. So this is WAAAY overdue & I couldn't be happier!
-

-

-
BOS Sweet Lou and the Almighty Hawk! Put on your goulashes!

-
Messrs K & H assure the public their production will be second to none!
I remember this song used to freak me out a little when I was 5 or 6.
-
almost not a BOS, but...
-
Riots on Sunset Strip!
Maybe the People Would Be the Times or Between Clark and Hilldale
-
back then the news media couldn't figure out that you were opposed to US policy, so you had to be "a Pacifist". Now today it's "a Liberal".
-
Is this Funkadelic doing "Testify"?
-
"Oo oo luscious!"

A lot of people probably had that reaction. But you probably hadn't just eaten something on a sugar cube...
-
dedicated to my best man, guitar player, coworker, and friend. I miss you Dave.

Known at the time as the Parliaments -- they later mutated into the Parliament/Funkadelic thang.
-
classic foamy psychedelia!
-
Man, this set is getting me a bit loopy -- with no illegal substances involved... 8)
-

Man, did Clinton pull one over on the record companies with that one--essentially the same band, signed to two different record companies under different names.
OOooo, BOSX+1 BeeGees!
-
BOS BeeGees

-
my sister lost this LP! I've never forgiven her.

-
BOS for Marvin and Tammi. That's just so good!
But on equal footing...Jackie Wilson. Always a perfect 10!
-

-
it wouldn't be a Morey '67 set without Jackie!

I think Jose doesn't really exist. He's just Dave's alter ego. He got tired of not being able to vote for best of set. Now he can.

and here's a different Mr Jones, in the post-set set.

Believable.

I tuned out--was it the T. Heads one, the Dylan one, or the Counting Crows one?

The one I was talking about was from the Bee Gees tune:
"Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones."

I think you may have hit on something, Mr. Fish.

Sadly, Annalisa played the Crows one -- I'd've preferred either Mr Dylan's or Mr Byrne's

And I said this a few weeks ago, but again: "yay" is spelled Y-A-Y, not Y-E-A-H.

Checked my files on this too, and as luck would have it, 02 and 05 are the only two I have. '04 may be lost to the ages.

I just looked, and didn't realize that the old board doesn't seem to have any posts past a year or so.

Yep, those went away when we stopped paying Discserver's maintenance fees. I know Rod asked to get the files of our "back pages" but they were unresponsive. Guess that was their trump card--if you want to maintain your archives, it'll cost you. Kind of a drag, but not worth what they were asking to keep it alive.
Which reminds me: Geoff, don't we owe you a few duckets apiece to keep this place afloat?

Let's try and remind me after June. If I get heat from my ISP, I'll let you know sooner.
