How sad that it took a death to bring back '73! But a sincere BOS -- great record.

GYBR, just a bit too obvious for me today, both as a song selection and and as a segue from Watergate.

set you on your feet again.
What do I win, Bob?
BOS for Todddddddddd.
-
And here's one for Gaz, not to mention my BOS2 and likely the popular winner too).
Todd, Just One Victory. A high point in a career filled with them.
-
Of course it'd be some Gaz faves when I can't get the stream to work. Sigh. Ah well, I have to leave for some QPS CopyDesk training in a few minutes anyway, guess I'll just leave early and actually show up on time for something for once.

VHM 3 is a magic number. I'm getting fond of this. I have it froma previous 10@10 burn and play it for the kids. They like it.
-

BOS
-
BOS2 SchoolhouseRock, "3 is a Magic Number"!
and BOS3 the Dan of Steel. They got Steely Dan T-shirts!

All right, smart guy. I'll take whatever award I can get.
I've always been surprised the the "fuck" in "Show Biz Kids" never gets bleeped out. Did they not notice it? And BOS for the Dan, of course.

Where's Darius Rucker?

Is there a radio-edit of Showbiz Kids? Or a longer version? I seem to remember hearing a version that I thought was pretty darn long once upon a time.
And can anyone make out what the woman's voice (or whatever instrument that's approximating one) is hollering? Is she saying "Do-o-o-o-n-ald!!"?
BOS3 D'yer Maker. This BOS voting could be close.
-
BOS4 Rick Derringer, "It's rainin" -- a breakout? if not, a rarity.
BOS5 the Mighty Zyou-Zknow-Zwho.
-
Where's Darius Rucker?
on the golf course hoping people mistake him for Tiger.
-
Carlos is having quite a week, 10@10-wise. VHM "LD&S"

This is a BOS for me, not just a VHM.
-
1973 makes me think of KSAN, and what was going on around here. Most of this set could be from any of the regional 10@10's
-
BOS4 Rick Derringer, "It's rainin" -- a breakout? if not, a rarity.
Thanks for the ID on that--I had no idea who that was. But I'm thinking breakout.
ETA: And a VHM for B.W. Stephenson, My Maria.
-
Yee-haw! "My Maria". The late Mr Stevenson.
Some years ago Dave played this one morning and I said, "damn, BW Stevenson sounds just like the guy from Brooks & Dunn -- they should cover this." And I swear, a month later, their cover came out.
-
So, '73 on a Thurs means... Tax Theme Set tomorrow?
-
And no mention of Jose--has there been a falling-out?

We can only hope

Bonus: JCY, "Ridgetop". Rosalie's like the not-as-much-fun-as-your-regular-teacher substitute. She picks her own bonus track.

I just came across it in a set from Dec 10, 2002. So less than 3 1/2 years ago.
