Pleasant surprise to go back this far, less so to hear Aretha's "Think" yet again. And now Traffic make it snappy (a line that still makes me literally cringe).
-
SAVE THE LIFE OF MY CHILD - SIMON & GARFUNKEL
STREET FIGHTING MAN - ROLLING STONES
THINK - ARETHA FRANKLIN
DEAR MR. FANTASY - TRAFFIC
PICTURES OF MATCHSTICK MEN - STATUS QUO
THE WEIGHT - THE BAND
HURDY GURDY MAN - DONOVAN
HARD TO HANDLE - OTIS REDDING
LADY MADONNA - BEATLES

pretty standard stuff, but nice nonetheless. BOS: Otis, he's hard to handle yes he ram!
"Gone but not forgotten, up in Soul Heaven"

"Sunday morning creeping like a nun," one of my fave Beatle lyric lines.

"Gee-ee-ene Pitney's dead...
No No No No he's 24 hours from Tulsa..."

BOS to the Moodies, sounding better this chilly morning than usual. Definitely a band for cold days.
