OMG! BOS3 Paul Simon & Phoebe Snow, "Gone At Last". The leadoff single from Still Crazy.... I think I've mentioned before that it was supposed to be Bette Midler, not Phoebe, but Atlantic wouldn't give her permission.

Although I don't care much for the song, I pine for the days when a song like this could actually hit #23 pop.
Given that it was the first single from a long-awaited LP, Columbia was pretty disappointed that it only got to 23. But "My Little Town" and "50 Ways..." made up for it.
