BOS to Joan Armatrading's "Love and Affection," which I am quickly developing heaping helpings of both of for.
HM to ELO, "Livin' Thing," which I'll always link with Boogie Nights' closing credits.
-
And now, an Mshray and RGMike fave, Dylan's "Mozambique."
-
BOS2 to Queen's "You're My Best Friend," and if you think it's a Katrina you have no heart. Need to find out what kind of electric piano's being used on this track; I adore the sound.

Right you are, bub. And ditto on the ELO/Mark Wahlberg connection -- I can never hear it now without thinking of his living, er, thing.

Proxy WOS of cairo, Mr Browne, solemnly waiting for the ice cream vendor.

Damn -- missed Garland Jeffries again, and SSJohnny too. And I never woulda identified Paris -- the '70s prog rock band, not the rapper. Fine set, with the Jeffreys and SSJ being essential NYC FM cuts that would never be on Dave's, Bob's or Ginger's radar.
Of the stuff I was actually here for, BOS Lofgren.

I was very impressed with that Nils Lofgren song, had never heard it before. Would have followed nicely from yesterday's "Ridgetop."

I'm sure there's a Lofgren Best-of floating around. I think you'd like. And of course I always sing the praises of Mr Jeffreys ghetto-Springsteen thang. He was multiracial before the word existed.
