Mr Welch to start, "Ebony Eyes"
-
Whew!! Was talking with my boss for the last 10 minutes (about cheese, not about work) and thought I could have missed a couple of songs. Glad to hear this is the TOTHC.
-
I never liked Bob Welch on his own. His voice just seems too thin. I heard the old Fleetwood Mac stuff much later, and I'm fine with that -- especially "Hypnotized".
-
send lawyers, guns, and money. 'cause you can't say "shit" on the radio.
-
This is the first time I have ever heard a censored version of "Lawyers Guns & Money" The "fish" has hit the fan, indeed.

somewhere between e.l.o. and that-era kinks.
-
And the parade of Judys continues--sporting Ms. Collins today I see, Princess?
When do we get the puppet?
-
BOS Poco's lovely comeback single, "Crazy Love".

"sporting a Judy" -- isn't that a euphemism for something?

I don't think I could talk about cheese for 10 minutes.

Is this a Sweet song I've never heard before?
-

When do we get the puppet?
the puppet?
as in "Punch & Judy"
BOS3 City Boy!
-
Is this a Sweet song I've never heard before?
City Boy -- doing the best ELO initation of the set (unless we actually hear some ELO later).
-
OMGWTF! BOS4 Andy Gibb! is this a breakout?
-
bos: mr. gibb

Very good, Mr. Mike.
Think I'm voting BOS to Dire Straits for the second time in a week--Wild West End.
-
A beautiful transition into "Walking in the Wild West End" sounding very optimistic.

I was hearing bits of Roxy Music in there, actually. And their singer kept affecting a Freddy Mercury inflection at times, too.

I remember thinking this song was really disappointing after the amazing "Baker Street".

Just picked up on that segue from Jim Jones to "Runnin' With The Devil" on the replay. Nice one, Dave.

I did hear the whole set before I ran out of signal on my way to Sacto. Belated notes:
I definitely thought it was a Sweet/Freddy Mercury impression (as opposed to a sweet Freddy Mercury impression).
I got that Jim Jones/Running With The Devil segue right off. A good one indeed, but a bit painful.
And when I heard the backwards 'shit' censorship of Zevon, I immediately thought of John Tesh hitting the fan (& being atomized).
