Shake It Up!
Nice to get the Old Cars out-of-the-way early. From Ginger's intro, sounds like we're gonna get some Tom-Tom Club?
BOS Dire Straits, one you don't hear often.

Notice the really nice ivory work by E-Streeter Roy Bittan.

I KNEW you were going to say that!

Wow, early Church! "The Unguarded Moment"
BOS! Dave plays plenty of Church, but never in 1981, iirc.

Monday brings out the snark in my bark.
VHM to a little-heard Buffet song. This is Jimmy, isn't it?
-

BOS2 "Genius of Love"
BohannonBohannonBohannonBohannon!

VHM the 'oo, as Mr Daltrey drinks himself blind to the sound of old T.Rex.
-
BOS3 "Musta Notta Gotta Lotta", Joe Ely
-
Deese town... is comin' like a ghost town, mon.
-
Dang me, this set kicks some ass. "Genius of Love", "Spanish Dancer", and now "Ghost Town", that's most of my top 10 for the year, and tunes we don't usually get from anyone else.
-
didja hear that commercial... for a church?
-
Gotta drive to Sacto now, I'll be listening to Dave in the car until I'm out of range.

You should be able to get most of the set if the conditions are agreeable--I've gotten KFOG past Fairfield, which should be a good 45 minutes from wherever you're leaving from (assuming it's not Vallejo or something). Or maybe there'll be a nice jackknifed tractor-trailor in El Cerrito and you can catch the whole set while sitting in traffic.

A friend and I installed my new car stereo last Saturday. Driving home, I was hoping for some traffic on I-80 so I could play with my new toy. And I got it. (I-80 through Berkeley on a Saturday afternoon -- duh.)
