...and now "Two Hearts Beat As One".

btw, if last hour's ELP song might have been about necrophilia, then there's at least that good a chance that this song is about inter-racial love:

They beat on black, beat on white
Beat on everything don't get it right
Beat on you, beat on me, beat on love

I don't know
How to say what's got to be said
I don't know if it's black or white
There's others see it red
I don't get the answers right
I'll leave that to you
Is this love out of fashion?

BOS Sarah Jessica Parker & John Corbett

Saw Corbett on "Grand Old Opry Live" Sat nite -- he's trying to be a country singer for some inexplicable reason, and he was completely generic.  Go back to acting, dude.

"Only Love Can Break Your Heart". BOS2

BOS (& perhaps most novel Heart song ever) King Crimson "Heartbeat".

Proxy for Urth?

ETA: by novel, I mean it's novel that a deejay dug it up, not that the song itself is completely novel.

Just tuned in, in time for Cock Throbbin'.  Which "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" was that, Neil Young or Gene Pitney?  Or, dare I dream, St. Etienne?

That was Neil.

I am really tired of hearing Cockrobin from Dave, but I'll give Ginger a pass.

Best Backing Vox of Set go to Flo & Eddie, natch.

Glad Ginger isn't letting sentiment get in the way of songlist.

No, I was being clueless, but at least Gaz had the sense to pick up on the straight line.    :)

I honestly thought you were being sarcastic because Gaz mentions Flo & Eddie just about every time we hear Bruce's "HH".

it's from the chase album ennea. the entire second side of the album is a concept: the birth of greek mythology. so strange. the arrangements are wonderful, but the words. good lord! horrible. at least g.g. shin can belt it out!

And for me too, thanks for thinking of me there, pard. I know Dave has played 80s-era Crimso once or twice, but it's been awhile and I can't even remember what song it might have been--Elephant Talk maybe?

Wish I'd caught more of this set, but work has been far too oppressive lately, so I tuned in just in time for the Westerberg--the boss has been on vacay so I've been a tad slammed of late. At least she's back tomorrow.

(BCO doesn't repeat the set at 10pm MT, do they?)
