He's teasing The Ballad of Jim & Tammy Faye in his YIM status line.

Getting the obligatory Crowded House out of the way early.

"gut feeling -- strong set".

Yeah, right.  Play "Sign o' the Times" -- anything from that glorious LP -- and all would be forgiven.

You don't really connect to 10@10--it's just a means of submitting your BOS votes. Log on to YIM and add Davemocal to your contacts.

VHM Lone Justice -- it's a Katrina, but Prince put me in a good mood.

"Katrina in a Bucket" reminds me of the bumper snicker I saw the other day:

"Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?"

This Petty is far from a Katrina as well -- maybe even a breakout?  1987 gets a makeover!

minus a couple points to Dave for calling him "alexander neal" -- twice.

But I can't remember the last time a 1987 set got me this excited. I'm twitterpated!

Could be they just suspended it for the duration of the Rock of Ages promo so as not to have to slip in a track from a given decade that deviates from their rigid 60s-70s-80s-etc order.

Or maybe it's dead.

post-set screw-up: 2 '80s songs in a row (Bruce and INXS).

and no Bonus Track again. Maybe they ran out of New Music Samplers to give away...

Listening to the replay, I'm still amazed -- what suddenly possessed Dave to climb out of his late-'80s-set rut and go crazy?

I'm also wondering how many Fogheads were hearing "Fake" for the first time. (And how long it'll be before Dave plays it again.)
