WOS Pope JPII -- at ABC we had a running gag, every time we had to use clips of him in a newscast, that he sounded WAY too much like Dracula.

Another Brick in the Wall wasn't doing it for me, but the guitar solo came along and saved it.  Very tasty.  But the song just doesn't hold up after all these years...

Who said 'imagine no posesssions'?
A poor little schoolboy
Who said 'we don't need no lessons'?"

Doing their best Skynyrd imitation.  Not that there's that much difference anyway...

"greetings, Tim the Enchanter"

and greetings, Rupert Holmes. I don't like Pina Coladas, but I could use a Margarita about now.  I hesitate to BOS this, but I've never understood why it's so hated.  His early stuff is some of the smartest adult pop ever made.
Title: hey teacher!

Well, missed a bunch of the set with an emergency support call.  I come in early to get some things done, and get waylaid by support.  I can't win...

I think for their fromative years, through their first album, Molly Hatchet wanted to be the next Allman Bros.  But when they actually broke big they realized  (or their mgr or their A&R guy realized) that they needed to position themselves as the next Skynyrd instead.
