S&G get up to wash their collective face, and Jimi sings about an "Angel".

I love that quote from Little Big Man, Old Lodge Skins telling Dustin Hoffman's character, "There is an unlimitednumber of white men, but, you see, there has always been a limited number of human beings."

BOS #3 "Teacher" by Tull.

Quite impressed by the Nick Drake track too--and it wasn't Pink Moon either. "Teacher" also a nice blast from the past.

was that Nick Drake before Tull?  Sounded "Pink Moon"-ish.  I do not remember EVER hearing anything from him on the radio at the time.

ooo! BOS "Cissy Strut"!

HM to the Meters, would've been BOS if it had been "Oh Calcutta," which was sampled to great effect on Amerie's massive hit "1 Thing" last year.  (My favorite single of the year, btw.)

What up wit' da stream? I've got some kinda funky-jazzy Crusaders-ish thing on repeat, but no Ginger.

Oh wait. There we go. Long commercial break I guess.

And here's my BOS4 (Drake, Meters, Tull were 1 thru 3)--CSNY Everybody I Love You. But we all know it's a Neil song, eh? Those couplets can't be anyone else.

ETA: Whoops, should be Country Girl--my first egregious flub of the year.

Fully agreed--and there were at least three songs we've never heard on the local version. Well done, Ginger, indeed.

And I got a doctor appt. at 10:45, so I'll be catching most of the KFOG set while on the bus, alas. Hoping for a good start to 2006. More later.

I've become fixated on "Northern Sky" since seeing it beautifully used in the movie "Serendipity."
