"Truckin'" into a TOTHC!
-
BOS the Cat man, "Hard-Headed Woman".
VHM the original commercial for Let It Be, with voiceover by Jonathan Schwartz, segued into "I Got a Feeling".
-
OMG! BOS2 Crabby Appleton, "Go Back". What a fine lost gem. I still say this song had to've been an influence on the Raspberries.
-
more good stuff: CCR "Hey Tonite" and the 'oo, "The Seeker".
-
WOS Temps, "Psychedelic Shack", my least fave song of theirs. Motown at its most panderingly "let's try to sound 'hip'".
-
BOS for novelty, Tull, "Fat Man".
A fine fine set.

Wow, a sniping WOS and it's not from me! :o I agree that the lyrical specifics haven't aged well, but the vocal arrangement is so dizzyingly thrilling that I just don't care if Dennis Edwards is sitting in a corner reciting poetry and Eddie Kendricks is burning patchouli on the shag rug.
Another BOS to Crabby Appleton, in the meantime.
