in the same category as David Johanssen's "Swaheto Woman", so titled because he didn't know how to spell Soweto (as in South Africa).
And proxy for mshray, here's Mr Rafferty. Dave's getting it right THIS time!

Thanks for the proxy, I'd have had to go ten-way myself (that's actually one of my favorite Cars tracks). Heard Super hit 6 and on in the car after having spent the morning with an infected 4 yr old in the clinic & Long's drugs getting precscriptions filled.
You know why Long's got its name? Cause that describes your experience waiting for prescriptions to be filled.

Hope he feels better. Is this that flu I read about in yesterday's Chron?

Nope, he has balanitis. If you really need to know what that is & where you get it you can look it up. Suffice to say he needs both a topical ointment & an antibiotic. Thanks for the thought anywhoo.

Hoo Lawd! I was born to be alive! The late Mr Hernandez.
Do you have a source for this? Chuck Eddy and I ended up getting into a conversation on this and couldn't confirm.

I swore I remembered hearing it in the '80s -- that he had died of AIDS. But since you asked, I went looking on the internet and couldn't find it for confirmation either. Maybe I have him confused with Patrick Cowley?

I also checked, and the only light I could shed was that he was still alive in 1999.
