7/31:

On today’s edition of Soundwaves 10@10, we’ll hear the final single from a legendary band released
twenty five years after their breakup, the soul song that an iconic musician could not persuade his
label to let him record, so he did it and released it himself, and the song that spent 16 weeks at
number one on the airplay chart, but never actually hit Billboard’s chart because of a technicality.

Mostly meh, but kudos on the Prince rarity and the wonderful LeeAnn Rimes-channeling-Brenda Lee song "Blue" (before she became tabloid fodder).

ETA: I didn't remember the Ricky Martin at all, but then I wasn't listening to CHR in '96
