i'm so very glad that i shut down the bar at five a.m., slept through my alarm, didn't make it to my dayjob (thereby forfeiting my temp position for the week), and was able to join you all in this steve miller extravaganza. terribly glad. like traffic "glad." yeah.

Grilled cheeze: Q, "Dancin' Man."  When I hear this I feel like I should be doing the "Born to Hand Jive" dance from Grease.

I was in the car Sunday morning and both KFRC and 95.7 "MAX" were playing "Swingtown" at the same time.

BOS to Q, a great OHW with "Dancin' Man", Blue-eyed Southern R&B at its most delightful.

the lesbian porn version wasn't so witty. they stuck with "born to hand jive" as a title.

Where are Rod or Urth?  The main point is that the title isn't "Misty Green and Blue".

Yes -- a friend alerted me and I've been following the storyline. Can't wait for the big payoff when it, er, comes.

And I just got in from a dentist appt. I knew it was UFO but I couldn't tell you the title either--not a fan, I'm afraid.

The road not taken: DM's yahoo IM status this morning says "who STOLE the Pablo Cruise CD????"  Wow, we dodged that bullet. Whoever it was, I owe him or her lunch.

It's called "Love To Love", and everytime Seaweed plays it it's because he got a request for "Misty Green and Blue" and he has to remind the Boneheads of the actual title.

Looks like I joined the set at the right time--I emerged from the underground in mid-Utopia. I BOS'd the Pete & Ronnie tune, btw.
