Agree with Mike, though it wasn't the worst thing to listen.  Also, congrats to Mavis Staples on her Kennedy Honor thing... so BOS to the Staple Singers.

Did he skip Badfinger on the backsell? I was waiting for him to say that that was the song with George Harrison playing on it (is it? Seems like the only candidate), but I don't remember him saying anything about it. Of course, I'm trying to work. Maybe somebody came into my office...

I don't remember it in the backsell either, but it had to be.  George produced and played some of the slide parts (looked it up on Wikipedia for confirmation).

I don't remember it in the backsell either, but it had to be.  George produced and played some of the slide parts (looked it up on Wikipedia for confirmation).

He did skip it, as I was listening for the George Harrison ref too, and didn't hear it. Went back and replayed the end of the set and sure enough, he went from Argent (and his Rick Wakeman tidbit) to My Three Sons, to Neil Young, with no Bad Finger to be mentioned. But that had to be it -- they were on Apple, fergawdsakes.
