And here I was just gonna call it "Katrina Working Overtime".  Given how many appearances it's made over the years, I can't believe it hasn't been TOTHC at least once.

YAY!  "Down By The Sea" The one song that proved to me that Men At Work are actually a far better band than their singles would indicate.

Love this song, most excellent for altered states of consciousness, btw.

And it made for a nifty segue into Secret Journey. This is shaping up to be one of the good 1982 sets.

"Silver Spoons" -- worst TV theme ever.

VHM Ms Bozzio's squeaks.  Bozzio + Lauper x Madonna = Gwen Stefani.

Sorry I'm late. Erin Gray rules (especially in the second season of "Buck Rogers" when she had that purple jumpsuit- rowwrrr!) and now whenever I hear Missing Persons I think about that "Hit Me Baby One More Time" show.

And Erin Gray rules.

Katrinalator, "Everywhere that I'm not". It's overplayed nature almost keeps me from BOS-ing. Almost.  But it's too damn brilliant.

VHM to Percy, but I'm not sure on the title--Burning Down One Side? He had a knack of naming songs with titles that appeared nowhere in the lyrics.

WOOOoooo! BOS to the Blasters, just cuz they're so remarkably different from everything else in the set.

ETA: Although it's nearly as much of a Katrina as the Missing Persons tune--seems to show up a couple times a year.

Wow, now yer takin' me back to high school.  LOVE me some H.E.  As enjoyable a B-movie as A Boy & His Dog turned out to be, I think it woulda made a killer "adult" cartoon, a la Ralph Bakshi at his '70s peak.

Now you're making me think of Jamie Lee Curtis in A Fish Called Wanda telling Kevin Kline "To call you stupid would be an insult to stupid people! I've known sheep who could outwit you. I've worn dresses with higher IQs!"

"It's a Mistake" does that job just fine for me WHILE being a single.  :)

Hey all - I'm leaving for Pittsburgh late tonight, staying through the weekend, with limited if any Internet access ... so Happy Turkey Gobblin' to all you fine folks and your loved ones.  May we all have much to be thankful for.

(And if anyone can archive the '75 and Turkey sets, I'll have that much more to be thankful for.)

Today's is Simple Minds New Gold Dream--another fine choice. Gotta say, the fogheads have been pretty good at picking the best of the choices Annalisa has been laying out for them. Maybe their collective IQ is gradually rising...

Eddy One Eddy Two Eddy Three Eddy Four.
