Gonna listen for a while before peeking at the list.

Muppet Show theme song > Big Ball by AC/DC   (I never would have ID'ed this without Shazam!)

Really? It's funny that I happened to play this last weekend on YouTube. For some reason I'd gotten it into my head that I should play classic heavy metal riff songs to educate my son. This one isn't very riff-heavy, but it's amusing, especially for a 16-year-old boy.

Gary Wright is a frequent flyer to be sure, but I still enjoy "Love Is Alive".

when KSAN first became The Bone and was incorporating a lot of head-banger stuff, this was one they played often, along with Nazareth's "Hair of the Dog"

I was wondering who wrote the song.  You'd think an old fart like me would know the Everly Brothers did it:

I was pondering that too. I'd only recently found out that it was a cover. I didn't remember the Everly Brothers wrote it.

Actually written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, who wrote other hits:

Seemed pretty long to me. Likely one of my BOS candidates.

Very glad DW didn't go with "Gonna Fly Now" out of the Rocky clip.   VHM to the Nazareth.

My fave version is Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris, but it's tough to go wrong with material like that.
