Woo Hoo!
Listening now. Remember when 10at10 started at 10 til 10?
-
well, "Hot Fun..." and "Something in the Air" back-to-back are not exactly endearing this set to me.
-
Just starting to listen now.
But yeah, those warhorses both deserve to be put to pasture for awhile.
"25 Miles" as the TOTHK ain't too bad though.
-
and the LNs keep on comin': "Get Back", "Build Me Up Buttercup"... only that live Airplane track from Woodstock (technically released in early '70, but whatevs) qualifies as a rarity.
Altamont --> Stones, "Gimme Cliché"
-
SMB, Space Cowboy, another one from the "oft-played" list.
-
"A pretty robust set" he says.
If by "robust", he means "well worn", then yes.

Indeed. This reminded me of what we called a "Sixties for Dummies" set in the DC era. Balances out the rarities we got on Monday, I guess.

I meant to do some digging to see if I could turn up any other sets, by Dave, AL or Renee, that had more than 5 of the same songs in it. I'd put money that there are at least a couple.

I'd take that bet.
I found two sets* that had three of those songs, and a few others that had two,
but that's it. You might find 1969 sets that had five or more of those artists.

My head is spinning from 3 weeks of teacher coach training. Could someone translate for me what this means?
