Ginger's set has to be better than Bob's. On the other hand, she's starting with the Blues Brothers, "Soul Man"...
-
early BOS contender: Neil, "Comes a Time".
-
VHM: WKRP Turkey Drop.
-
VHM Kinks, "RnR Fantasy" -- Little Steven played a new Ray Davies song last nite called "Thanksgiving Day" (a New Orleans benefit thing). It was lovely, and I'll be curious to see if KFOG plays it.
and here's Patti, "Because the Night" for the 2nd time this morning.
-
Whiskey, bad cocaine, and a proxy BOS for mshray: live Little Feat.

PD whathisname played it on New Releases Thursday last week--it didn't grab me at first but by the time it was over I had been roped in. Album isn't due until February though--sheesh.

Dave played it on the morning show this morning and reiterated what you said--it's available on an EP now and the album is out in early '06.
Guess that makes good marketing sense--if you have a song called Thanksgiving Day that you want to release as a single, you pretty much have to get it on the shelves in November or hold it for another 11 months. In February it would flop like one of Mr. Carlson's turkeys.
