BOS Mr Sumner, "Englishman in NY", one of his finest solo moments, IMHO.

"Damn"... I was right.  That's not the first obscure Etta track Ginger's played. She must be big in Boulder.

Man, talk about the best laid plans...

I only have to leave the house now to go to Sacto & Fairfield, so I thought I'd try to get everyone out the door early & be able to catch the 2nd half of Rob, all of Bob & all of Ginger.  First of all my wife tells me she can go in an hour later than usual because of a trianing class or some such, so nobody leaves until about 8:20, messing up the Peak & Drive listening opportunities.  Then I get KBCO going on my home PC & am so happy that whatever is preventing me from streaming on my laptop isn't happening here, when I get two long distance business phone calls in a row & miss practically the whole set.  Damn!

Now it's off to Sacto, I'll be listening to Dave in the car.

Later.

Murphy's Law--it's a constant of nature.

Give my regards to my (and Beej's) old home town--if it's this warm here it should be gorgeous up in Sac-burg.
