Early BOS to the Temps' psychedelic soul, "Ball of Confusion."  Maybe my favorite of all their tracks.

suicide, too many bills, hippies movin' to the hills!

From Ginger's intro it sounded like she might play "Psychedelic Shack".  Glad she didn't. Quite a silly song, especially in comparison to "BOC".  Maybe Ginger'll be the one to favor us with Crabby Appleton.

Crabby Appleton would be great.  In the meantime, a confession: I just don't get Joe Walsh.  Not in any of his incarnations, any of his bands.  Just can't get my head around him.  Though I'm sure he's a great drinking buddy.

VHM: Beneath the Planet of the Apes, flashing me back to the POTA marathon I attended in 1973 -- all 5 movies. Boy, was my butt sore.

BOS Badfinger. Who is it that just did a cover of this?

One of the producers I worked with at ABC was friendly with Mr Walsh -- whenever somebody in music died, he'd call Joe for a soundbite because chances are he'd worked with the dead person.  When Andy Gibb died, we joked, "so... you gonna call Walsh?" And he did -- and sure enough, Joe'd played on one of Andy's albums.

Hot Tuna, "Hesitation Blues" -- best obscure flashback of set (so far). Proxy BOS for Geoff.

Mr Burdon spilled some wine in their server.  Buffering: good for aspirin, bad for audio.

BOS2 Beatles (yay). I dig a pigmy indeed.

On the other hand, if you're gonna play it, don't cut it off before the birds chirp.

Ginger's cheeze medleys are becoming a tad annoying -- I'd've LOVED to hear the Poppy Family.  BOS3 Randy Newman's orig of "Mama Told Me..."
