This color-by-numbers musical portrait of 1967 stayed entirely within the lines.
A for rote recital; F for creativity.
-

5. Richie Havens - San Francisco Bay Blues
6. The Who - I Can See For Miles
(Ad: Pete Townshend of the Who for the United States Air Force)
7. The Doors - People Are Strange
(Movie: Valley of the Dolls)
8. Wilson Pickett - Funky Broadway

No. 7 appears to be a bust-out. (Once again, I do not consider its previous sole appearance as
a bonus track to be part of a 10@10 set.)

Wow, that's the coincidence of the week, certainly. And I note that Dave, for comparison, played "Wishful Sinful" SEVEN times.
And I completely agree with your "F for creativity" comment.

BOS3 Bobby Z "Positively 4th St"
Not a bustout I presume, but a great song we hear way too rarely these days.

BOS1 Richie Havens by the bay.
Not a bustout? I always liked the way he did this song. Too often it's done in pizza parlor straw hat style, but Richie gives it emotional depth.
