Bob'll have to strain to top Dave's set from yesterday.
-
early BOS Ms King, makin' me feel the earth move. Tapestry is the one element that is consistently (and inexplicably) absent from Dave's 1971 sets, when it ought to be the ELO of the period.
-
VHM Sonny & Cher clip. Ditto the Moodies, "Story in Your Eyes".
-
Low spark of high-heeled mondegreen:
"...with the profit he's made on your jeans."
took years for me to discover it's actually "dreams".
-
BOS2: Dirty Harry "Well, DO ya, PUNK?"
follwed by a ChiTown (and Morey) fave, Ides of March, "LA Goodbye".
-
Least-likely repeat from yesterday: "Another Day".
-
BOS3 3DN, "Liar", one of their most underrated singles, IMHO.

A Gaz and Alicat fave as well. I'll do my best to catch the replay tonight after work.

TANC: "Baby Blue" was one of the songs I listened to on my randomly selected mix-tape on my way to work today.

I could do with hearing Another Day again. That really brings back memories of 1971 or thereabouts. Pretty sure I was listening on my AM transistor with a single ear bud.
