'70s would be nice; '90s more likely.
oy: '95. Rembrandts with the Friends theme to start. Buh-bye!
-
2. Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffany's
So far it's a triple-A fest. Hoping we go farther afield from here on.
-
Per FB, song #2 was the uber-uber-FF "Breakfast @ Tiffanys". Jeebus.
-
"Friends" clips abound.
3. RHCP - My Friends
I think this qualifies as a rarity, at least compared to the two that preceded it.
ETA: And my stream dropped and I missed most of it. Oh well.
-
4. Oasis - Some Might Say
Now *this* is a rarity.
And the "Friends" just keep on coming.

Now *this* is a rarity.
This and the RHCPs tune might be bustouts.
-
5. Bonnie Raitt - You Got It.
(Ted Koppel on marriage) > 6. Billy Bragg - Sexuality
Another rarity if not a bustout.

I was surprised the Bonnie tune didn't come up in a search -- coulda sworn we've heard it before. The Billy Bragg has been in Pride sets.
-
7. Weezer - Buddy Holly
No rarity here, but I still enjoy hearing this one. Certainly takes me back to that time.

appears in 1994 sets most of the time.
-
8. Letters to Cleo - Here and Now
One more in the rarity column. Another that conjures up mid-90s.
(Always thought the chorus on this one was borrowed from the Blues Bros.' Rubber Biscuit.)
-
(SNL clip) > 9. Edwyn Collins - A Girl Like You
Not really Bowie, but an amazing facsimile.
-
10. P.J. Harvey - Down By the Water
-
None of this was particularly my cuppa (save the Bragg, and I've heard it plenty of times), but kudos on what looks like 3 possible bustouts.

Not a bad set, and with any luck we got the 90s out of the way for the week.

85, 95, maybe 75? Would certainly work for me.
