Pretenders, Culture Club (hooray!) and Mr Browne's "For a Rocker".

Hey Mark: Rob played the entire 14-minute "Telegraph Road". The entire set ran nearly an hour as a result.

BOS on the replay: Dylan, "Jokerman." Very evocative of the summer of 1994 for me, in a month of rain and wet grass and cheap ice-beer. And I'm not sure Bobby ever sang *better*, in the sense of aiming for a range of notes and hitting them all. Too bad there were no Byrds or MMann in 1983 to smooth this out.

Dang Me!
So last Saturday we had an early Thanksgiving dinner with my wife's 2 best friends from HS & UC Davis and their families. Made me my best turkey & best gravy yet. One of the husbands, who lives in Novato, makes his living as an audiophile consultant designing and installing systems for wealthy Marinites (Marin-ers? Marin-ions? what's the proper adjective?). He told me that as it's clear that I am waaaay into music I really need to get one of these terabyte music servers, so I can play what I want in every room, whether radio, CD, stuff on the HD or streaming audio. And he can help me get it real cheap.
I totally agreed of course, 'cuz I'd love to listen to Rob while eating dinner, among other things, but even at 'real cheap' I'll have to wait until I get a better paying job.

This is a question for the Morning Show. Send it to Dave.
I vote for "Marinades." Although "Marinions" at least gets the syllabication right.

I have always heard the word "Marin-ites" used in that context. But I like "Marinades"
