Feh.  I have to bail around 10:30 anyway, but I think I'll just bypass this altogether...

TOTHK: Foos, I'll Stick Around.

If it's gotta be Foos, I'd be fine hearing anything off this record. It was quite a revelation when it came out: "You mean Dave Grohl can *sing*?!?!"

2. Montell Jordan - This is How We Do It
(Clueless clip)
3. Bob Dylan - Dignity

I know we've heard the Jordan before, not sure about the Dylan.

ETA: Turns out that the Dylan has shown up once before, as has the Foos song, in 2011 and 2012, respectively. And yes, the MJordan has multiple appearances, enough that it's not worth counting.

Yay for Wallace Shawn appearing in the Clueless clip.

I'll give a BOS for Pulp's "Common People", though I really have no history with this song. Much more familiar with the Shatner version, which is very fun.

I'll give an HM for Portishead, another group completely off my radar in 95.

4. Pulp - Common People
5. Portishead - Sour Times

Neither are rarities, but like the Foos, I have fond memories of the Portishead song. Definitely carved out its own space in what I was hearing back in that era.

Ooh, I like song 6, but have no clue what it is. Power-pop of some description.

ETA: Sparky's Dream - Teenage Fanclub, according to Google.

I got no info on these guys.

Strong finish with Morphine, though "Honey White" isn't my favorite.
