Me too.  I liked how sardonic Bob was in his back-announce. All he said was, before that was Boomtown Rats "I Don't Like Mondays".  Heh.

VHM Forbert, but this was a hit in '80 -- was the LP a late '79 release?

Missed the first few songs because I was on the phone trying to get reservations at the French Laundry for Sarah's b-day (2 months from today), and I get thru at 5 past 10, only to be told they're closed for the first two weeks of January.

AAAAUUUUUGGGHHHH!

So I had to go commiserate with some of my foodie coworkers.

per the Top 40 db, the line in "Driver's Seat" is

"jenny was sweet/ there is no lead"

which i always thought was "... there is no elite"

Actually, neither one makes sense.

Ah, another Dave Discotrina, the Gibson Bros., "Coo-bah"

HM, the Mighty Zep.  One day Dave will discover "I'm Gonna Crawl" and I'll give it a BOS.

If that's going to happen, I'm gonna have to have a few more weeks like this one, and less like last week, when I was 6 for 14.

I knew immediately what you were referring to.  I'd wager girl-on-girl cheerleader action doesn't bother too many otherwise homophobic football fans...
