Given AL's recent penchant for rarities and bustouts, this could be a really great set. Lots of excellent songs from 79 that haven't appeared here before.
-
3 Mile Island --> "Run Like Hell". Heh.
-
more 3 Mile --> "Electricity", OMD. BOS1.
-
Solar eclipse --> Gary Numan, a blessed "not 'Cars'" selection, "Are 'Friends' Electric", continuing our electricity theme.
-
TV Superstations and VCRs "porno costs more" --> "Transmission", Joy Division. A bustout? BOS2.
ETA: 2 previous appearances, it turns out
-
the B-52s arrive to dance this mess around. "I'm not no lim-boi-guh!" BOS3.

Your quotes are just the same as mine today. This one along with "porno costs more" jumped out at me. Good set! It's really a "the 70's are over, get used to it" set.

Agreed.

a certain 'snipe complained that "she ALWAYS plays this one" but it's only it's 4th appearance in the AL era.
(of course there's no Stones or Bruce in '79 so he's cranky)

Statler & Waldorf at the Muppet Movie --> ZZT "Cheap Sunglasses"

This explains why it’s a 70s set I like so much. ;D

Statler & Waldorf at the Muppet Movie --> ZZT "Cheap Sunglasses"
BOS for me. Fun tune.

"Classic" ZZTop always sounds good (IMHO)...
-
The Jerk orders wine --> "Message to you Rudy"
-
Rudie sticks around: Clash, "Rudie Can't Fail". BOS4.
-
No bustouts afaik, but this was most enjoyable.

I'm going to have to catch this tonight. Warriors, please finish by 10PM. Otherwise I'll have to check it out on the cloud. Or I suppose I could DVR it. Or wait til Saturday, when with my luck it'll appear at 6AM.
