Didn't hear a promo. As I said yesterday, a '60s set would make it a 5-decade week, but late '90s is more likely.
wow, 2 '80s days in a row -- unusual.
instant WOS Bobby McFerrin. Oy.

Take some Prozac, Mike!
;D

The Bobby McFerrin is awful. As is often the case, the hit song is an otherwise respectable performer's least tolerable.

Pixies are offically an AL LN. "Where is My Mind" indeed.

Cool ending, though.

Was just about to bail out of 1988, but I love this song, LN though it may be...
-
BOS Brian Wilson -- if you haven't seen the movie yet, you need to.
-
Dan Quayle doesn't wanna go back --> Patti Smith "People Have the Power" BOS2.
-
John Hiatt bangin' like-a Charlie Watts.
"I always though our house was haunted
'Cause nobody said 'boo' to me"
That's a pretty good line, actually.
-
Rainman --> New Order "Touched By the Hand of God". VHM for being a less-than-overplayed choice.
-
BOS3 Pogues.
-
DM "Route 66"
-
BOS Pogues. My son Adrian is now a sophomore, and earlier this week I went to his room & heard him listening to the what sounded like "Fairy Tale of New York". It actually turned out to be a Minecraft-themed parody song, but he does like the Pogues & later even was overheard trying to get his younger (8th grade) brother to listen to "Fairy Tale of New York".
-
more Rainman --> LL Cool J "Goin' Back to Cali". VHM. Well, that set covered all the bases

There are a lot of good choices from that album. Bone Machine and Gigantic both got airplay at the time.
