and another of the many Pete Townshend songs that contains a snippet of a different song.  The guitars before the out-tro "...how can we follow..." are the same as the intro to "Pinball Wizard".

Okay, the Now Playing feature lets me know that this is Nick Drake "Fruit Tree", but I'm completely unfamiliar with this.

Another nice surprise from Ginger.

indeed, may be BOS just on that basis alone. I'd've never known who it was. Is that a pink moon behind that fruit tree?

Unless Ginger is planning to give us some of that Hendirx from Woodstock, "Jingo" is going to get my overall BOS.

I think this (first verse at least) should be W's theme song.

Everybody's talking at me.
I don't hear a word they're saying,
Only the echoes of my mind.
People stopping staring,
I can't see their faces,
Only the shadows of their eyes.

For 2 frink points, what was Jones' first name?

Was that Ed "Too Tall" Jones? Or Deacon Jones? Lotta Joneses in the NFL back then.

So I get to keep the frink points for myself; it was Cleon Jones, and I used to have his baseball card when I lived in Lon Gisland.

I've noticed that, it's weird.  Has it been used in a movie recently?  I'm hearing it in random places as well as on the 10@10s.

P.S.  I knew Cleon Jones was the answer to that question, even not having heard the clip.   :P

Especially since it was 1969, it's even more rare to play the AOXOMOXOA version.

It's been in several commercials (not counting the Coke spot with "Starry Eyed Surprise" which samples it), I've heard it in 1969 10@10s from Dave Bob & now Ginger in the past month (or so it seems) and I've heard it on WLNG this week too.
