I'm going to take all of the under, and say today's set will be one of the following (in order of
decreasing probability):

  • a theme set

actually, as this is another of those wacko-predicted End of the World days... I was thinking they might rerun the end-of-the-world set we got a few years ago.

ETA: except that was a Renee set...

(Movie: Ferris Bueller  "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me")
 2. Peter Gabriel - Big Time
(Movie: Ferris Bueller's Day Off- Taking out dad's Ferrari)
 3. Talk Talk - Life's What You Make It
 4. Pretenders - My Baby
(Movie: Hannah & Her Sisters - Mickey (Woody Allen) considers converting to Catholicism)
 5. Bon Jovi - Livin' On a Prayer
(Movie: Hannah & Her Sisters - Mickey (Woody) considers Hare Krishna)
 6. Dramarama - Anything, Anything

I guess I'm not buying any powerball tickets today...

Looking at the set list, it seems split down the middle for me -- half the songs I enjoy,
half of them would make me change the station.

Chrissie Hynde has a new album and a book out, and this is the second Pretenders appearance this week. Coincidence?

(And we heard the Moodswings' Spiritual High  with her on vocals last week, too.)

Ugh. Buongiovi.  Feh.

of course, gawd forbid KFOG should actually play something from her new album. Because there's a new one by Houndmouth that's MUCH more important to the kids.
