That's some tasty pedal steel there.
-
Stevie "Master Blaster"!
-
Ha ha! Best clip of the week so far: Dolly from 9 To 5,
"I'm gonna get that gun & I'm gonna change you from a rooster to a hen with just one shot!"
BOS The Kings, as long as it's a twin spin.
-
Stevie "Master Blaster"!
another one you'd think would be a Morey Katrina but is not. And here's the Kings, which is one... but which I never tire of.

I have to say, I like "Emotional Rescue" better now than I did 25 years ago.

Agreed, in fact I guess I always liked it, and am puzzled how many folks call it "worst Stones song evah!"
-
That sexy voice, "Over You" proxy of cairo, unless something Dan-related comes along.
-
Hey wow! Something from Rockpile other than "Teacher, Teacher".
BOS for novelty alone, "When I Write The Book".
-
BOS Rockpile. the other day on KPIG I heard a Dave Edmunds song I'd never heard called "I've Got Beach Boys in My Blood" or something like that, another in a long line of BBs pastiches. No idea when that came out.

I'd've gladly traded this Genesis for that "Love Stinks" or even that Capt & Tenille...

Arrived in time for the end of the Genesis tune. Used to like that song (ca. 80-81), but extreme oversaturation has remedied that situation.
(I Don't Want to Go to) Chelsea--now this is much better.
Followed by Bruce's The Ties That Bind--the leadoff track from The River--will always remember the first time I dropped the needle on this album and those two snare shots rang from the speakers--wow! This album ruled my turntable in the fall of 80.
-
Wow, great Elvis C, "I Don't Want to Go to Chelsea", followed by little-heard Brooce, "Ties That Bind." Impressive.
-
VHM Gary Myrick in "Stereo". It sounds so good to me.
-
And here's a clip that DM plays now and again--the Reagan "are you better off now than you were four years ago?" bit.
Wish a lot of Americans had asked themselves that a year ago.

first time I've heard Ginger promo tomorrow's year... it's 1990-something, she sounded a bit cut off.
