loved that album, played it to death.
1980 was the year i graduated HS & started college. Just about everything from this year is a sledgehammer.

Woo Hoo!! BOS from me for the B-52s, fun song.

Magazine gets a VHMFRA -- a bustout, I'm thinking?
-
Whoa!! Magazine, A Song From Under the Floorboards.
Serious bustout potential here, and BOS for me.

I had no idea who this was. But it sure sounds like it could be a David Bowie song. Do you know if he had anything to do with the production?

John watches the wheels.

Not that I know of. Howard Devoto was a member of both Magazine and the Buzzcocks, which explains the similarity that I noticed between the two. But no Bowie connection so far as I know.

Yah, I looked into it, and there doesn't appear to be a connection. Just the times, I guess.

At least three major BOS candidates for me -- Magazine, Roxy, & the Clash, and VHM to APP, Bruce, & B-52s.
Not a bad turn at all. Also nice to have AL using more news clips again -- she'd ventured away from that in recent months.
