So I'll add another to the predictions: Culture Club.

OOOOoooh, didn't think about this one--Dave has been digging into the Chicago catalog a bit  more deeply lately. And with the piano intro too!

The mix sounds really off on the internet feed.  The vocals are buried.  Weird.

It's like it's getting interference from another feed. Wow. Maybe they're subliminal messages!

I don't see how he can eschew the Chambers Brothers, and after that full length Chicago this could be a really long set.

Which I suppose would be self-referentially in keeping with the theme.

Oooh, good one!  I'm holding out for that.  I might just have to go out to my car for the rest of the set so I can listen at high volume.

Oh. Dear. God.

All the great "time" songs that are out there to be chosen from, and one of them is Hootie? Sheesh.

Sometimes I think Dave picks these things just to torment us.

Hootie actually sounds good to me today.

So sue me.

I's surprised Dave didn't go with "Time Is On My Side", but I'm not complaining.

Actually I consider it to Dave's credit that of all the songs we postulated that might get played, only one actually did (I confess, I was thinking "Time is On My Side" rather than "Out of Time" when I shouted out for the Stones.) On the other hand, the Green Day tune is actually titled "Good Riddance (Time of your Life)" but that's nitpicking, and as we well know, such niggling behavior is not tolerated here.

Still peeved about the Hootie tune though.

Indeed, but it coulda been worse: Color Me Badd had a hit called "Time and Chance"

And I'm sure Gaz & I were alone in hoping for Andy Gibb's "Time is Time". But looking at Whitburn, Dave coulda got 30 more songs just from the ones that actually charted (and those are just songs where "Time" is the first word in the title).

Indeed, and also the COTB's "Give Me Just a Little More Time," which is perhaps the most appropriate for autumn daylight savings.

Time, time, time - see what's become of me ...

So did anyone stay up to listen to K-Fox's "extra hour of sheep"?
